Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all my friends & family. We had a great Christmas, we did ours last night... 

I did miss seeing her reaction to the presents from Santa this morning... That kinda sucked, but that's the job I guess. Next year there is no way that I'll be working Christmas, so we always have next year ;) 

Overall it has been a great Christmas though...I am thankful to have a job that I love (most days anyway, lol) and thankful for the fantastic family & the best friends a girl could ask for. My first conversation this morning was with my BFF on the way to work...totally love her! 

I've been super busy with work & getting ready for Christmas & I neglected to pay any attention to my blog. :( I miss it when I don't get to let everything out. 

I will be starting school next week (eek), which means there will probably not be as many posts here...or I will post just to get away from school work...who knows? Lol. It's a new chapter & I'm hoping it goes well.

Broncos rule!

Ok guys...here it is...my new blog! Yay! I figured it out! And I can freely discuss imbibing! ;) 

So, first & foremost...Yay Broncos! King of the of AFC West! Again! :) And of course kudos to Mr. Manning for playing while under the weather & for taking that hit for the team. Ouch! 

Of course, I was only able to see it on replays...after the fact, due to not being able to watch the game down here. (Thank you TV assholes.)  I never want to see that tweet again... That Manning left the game injured. Yikes! 

Enough of that... Time for other things. My sweet Aunt Ruthie introduced me to Gluhwein while visiting her, thank you so much. :) yummy yum 

I have been drinking this delicious warm drink all afternoon & the smell is heavenly.  

How did I not know that this drink existed? 

Well, we had a great vacay & the time away did wonders. I haven't felt like posting much due to not wanting all of my thoughts "out there" recently. There is a lot of wondering about my future & career going on in my head lately. My TB nurse (sweet grandma/evil stepmother) is indeed retiring & recommended me taking her position. I have to admit that the whole TB/infectious disease really appeals to me, along with a retirement program that's not a 401k.  Like I said...a lot of stuff rolling around my head. I love my job & absolutely love working with babies, don't get me wrong. I'm just thinking about changing things up. 

Oh yes, there is a wrench in the whole school plan... I'll explain more later. Damn  reimbursements & politics...

And lastly, sorry to end on a sad note. Please pray for my Uncle James (Wimpy) and his close family. This is a difficult time & every prayer counts.
